AWS re:Invent CEO Keynote (Matt Garman)

Executive Keynote | Program Delivery | Multi-Screen Live Environment

A CEO keynote at this scale is a crafted narrative that has to synchronize brand and product storytelling, complex visual and motion design, a five-screen scenic environment, and the realities of live production. The work is beautiful when it’s cohesive, and fragile when it’s not, especially under inevitable late-stage changes.

Partnering with Article Group, I owned day-to-day program leadership across narrative, design, and motion for Matt Garman’s executive keynote at the 2025 AWS re:Invent conference held in Las Vegas, NV. This involved keeping stakeholders, section owners, and creative teams aligned from planning through final delivery. The final scope for this 2-hour live show included ~300 show-ready slides, 80+ motion assets, and a five-screen stage system (including ribbon + totem accents) with live-event vendor requirements. I ran the operating cadence, managed versioning and approvals across multiple stakeholders, and maintained a structured motion pipeline (intake, tracking, reviews, delivery formatting). In the final stretch, I supported rehearsal change management so last-minute updates landed cleanly without compromising pacing, clarity, or the integrity of the visual system.

This was a newer medium for me, and I enjoyed the challenge of bringing together client and program leadership, creative production, vendor coordination, and live event experience to shepherd the work from concept through main-stage delivery.
